Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals

St Peter’s is here to help you on these special occasions. Please contact Revd Mark Cannon 01943 831 382 to discuss your arrangements.

Baptisms:

It is a privilege to welcome children, babies and adults into the Church through baptism. The Rector will talk with you about the preparations needed for baptism.

Weddings:

We thoroughly enjoy sharing your special day with you as you start your married life together. As well as the marriage service itself, we can offer bells and a small choir. The church hall is a beautiful setting for refreshments after the service or for your wedding reception. Our aim is for you to enjoy a memorable day with St Peter’s.

Please remember there are always some legal preliminaries to be completed before a marriage can take place in a Church of England Church (eg about where you live, whether you have a ‘qualifying connection’ with St Peter’s or whether you have been married previously). Please speak with the Rector for more details.

Funerals:

We feel for you in your bereavement and hope that the faith and support of the church and the peace of this beautiful place will help to bring you comfort at this sad time. If it would help you to talk to someone about your bereavement, please contact the Rector.

Arrangements for funerals are normally made through your undertaker and we will do all we can to help. You can find out more here. If you want to discuss anything related to a funeral, please contact our Parish Administrator on 01943 830 306 email contact@stpetersaddingham.org.uk or the Rector on 01943 831 382 or 07866 298 892.
