Phase 1 plans consultation period

Phase 1 plans consultation period

St Peter’s is considering some reorganisation of the church building to make it more accessible to those with disabilities, more welcoming and more flexible. The plans envisage two phases of alterations.

Detailed plans approved by the Church Council have been submitted to the Diocese for phase 1 of these proposals. The Diocese has set in motion a consultation period in the parish about phase 1, ending on 5th April, before final approval is given. The planning notice for phase 1 is on the church door and on the board at the end of the drive.

Copies of the plans for phase 1 are now on display in the church hall and church porch, along with copies of the Statement of Significance document which accompanied the application. (If you take a copy of this document to read, please return it as soon as possible, thankyou.)

There will be a meeting about the plans for phase 1 of the proposed reorganisation of the church building, on 20th March at 7pm in the church – see details below / to the right. This is an opportunity to get clarification and ask questions.
