PCC update

A summary of the latest St. Peter's PCC meeting

July Bullets from the PCC

The PCC met on July 2nd to deal with another lengthy Agenda and a number of “Magic Minute” items. Here’s a summary:

PCC Minute: The bullet points of the last Meeting have been well received. But even better – the actual June Minute was approved and is now in the folder at the back of church for all to enjoy.

Car Park Path: Some concerns have been expressed by the BMDC Conservation Officer regarding the planning application for the new path. We understand this will be discussed by the Addingham Parish Council (APC) on July 16th before Bradford decide. Representation from St P’s will attend the APC meeting to stress the benefits of the new path.

Cleaner: The adverts are out for a new Hall Cleaner so that we can continue the high standards we offer to all the groups who use our hall.

Chairs: Various chair types are now in place in the temporary area at the back of church. Try them out and let us know which you prefer.

Church Orchard: The Open Gardens event proved very successful attracting over 250 visitors. We need to consider how St Ps could use the space. Suggestions please to PCC members.

Risk Assessments: Discussions with the Insurers have been very useful. Those for the Church, Graveyard, Field and Orchard are planned. Volunteers to help prepare these appreciated.

A Church for Tomorrow Podcast: Coming soon to give everyone the chance to widen discussion on St Peter’s in 2025 and beyond. Watch this space…
